Your FAQ page should feature prominently in your site’s menu. A good FAQ page can counter objections while they are still forming in the visitor’s mind, and provide reassurance to potential customers.
If your FAQ answers are substantial, and consist of a few paragraphs, you can get extra SEO benefit from them by creating each FAQ as post. To do this you would provide the title of the post as a question, and the answer in the body of the post. Than add SEO data as usual to the title and meta description. All the FAQ posts should be placed in a category created for the purpose which you could call Post FAQs for example.
You can then present these answers as a normal FAQ page – i.e a single page where all the questions and answers are provided on a single page – using the Genesis Club Pro plugin’s category FAQ facility. In order not to suffer any duplicate content issues you should set the Post FAQs category to be noindex.
This way you will get maximum benefit from your individual FAQ questions and answers, but still serve them up to the visitor who clicks on your FAQ link in your menu, on a single, convenient page.
The way the FAQ page looks will be affected by the CSS that already exists in your theme. We make it easy to provide your own class names on the category and then you can add CSS to style the page the way you’d like it to look. See our demo.
