Sometimes you want to run with different post info and post meta on your archive page. However, by default Genesis uses the same sets of shortcodes for postinfo and postmeta on the archive pages as it does for the single post pages. With Genesis Club Pro v4.28 or Genesis Club Lite 1.15, you can apply an override.
Go to Posts > Category and edit the post category of interest. Then scroll down to the Genesis Club Archive Settings section and then click on the Post Info/Meta tab.
If you want to delete the Post Info or Post Meta for that archive then put
in the box. Otherwise, put the shortcodes you want to use on that archive page. If you leave the box empty then no action is taken and the global settings for the Post Info or Post Meta apply.
How To Hide PostMeta On Most Archive Pages
Note that there is a checkbox to disable post meta on all archives so use the Remove On Archives feature instead if you typically want no post info or post on your archive pages.
You can then use the new Archive specific PostMeta feature to enable post info/meta on just the archives where you want to show it.
A scenario where you might want to do this is where you have a lot of evergreen posts on the site in various categories and a blog category that is updated frequently. Here you would remove postmeta on all archives and then just switch it back on again on the blog category.
