Genesis Club Pro v4.34 introduced a couple of new features; integration with the SEO Framework plugin (in addition to the existing support for Yoast SEO) and support for post subtitles
Post Subtitles
Post subtitles were added to the plugin in response to a Genesis Club member who wanted a distinctive layout to the posts on his site with a attention-seeking title and then a more explanatory subtitle. He had originally done this using extensive markup in the title itself. However, this had an undesirable knock-on effect where this very long title was being using in widgets and in summaries. The new plugin feature allows both title and subtitle to be entered without any HTML markup. The title is marked up with H1 tags as usual while the subtitle is marked up with H2 tags.
SEO Framework Plugin Integration
On new sites we have been using the SEO Framework plugin as a light weight alternative to Yoast SEO. The SEO Framework plugin keeps its SEO settings in the same fields as Genesis does so the Genesis Club SEO migration features can be used to migrate all SEO settings from Yoast with a single click.
Genesis Club Pro Plugin now includes fields for OpenGraph title, description and image which allows you to override the default value used by the SEO Framework plugin.
